Roger Coles ,Managing Director is a licensed real estate agent, an associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand a property investor and property manager. Starting in 1991 Roger was the principal of a very successful Parnell, Auckland based boutique real estate agency. During his ownership the practice grew in size and conducted hundreds of property transactions. Roger's experience includes residential, commercial and industrial real estate and management of all types of investment properties. As a hands on real estate agent with an extensive background in business, he experienced many of the problems confronting purchasers of real estate. He became aware that many buyers require advice and assistance beyond that offered by mainstream selling agents. Real estate sales in New Zealand have traditionally been in the hands of agents representing vendors. The industry has consolidated increasingly into large groups based on the franchise model. Dual agency arrangements where one company represents both buyer and seller have always existed but exclusive representation of buyers has not. Roger is determined to pioneer the concept of exclusive buyer’s representation in New Zealand and bases everything he does in his real estate activities on the simple philosophy of “No stone unturned” Despite having travelled widely, Roger remains passionate about life in New Zealand. His other interests include family life, politics, jazz and old motorcars.  |
